Social Media/Marketing Intern for Swimwear Company

Job description

We are currently looking for a Social Media/Marketing intern for our swimwear company: Luxe Bandage Swimwear. Must love fashion, social media and be aware of current trends.

It will be a 4 - 6 week unpaid internship however the hours are very flexible and you can work from home. You will be required to work 3 days a week of your choice (Monday to Friday).

Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our company and gain experience in the cut-throat fashion industry.

Tasks include:

•Promoting our swimwear brand on all social media channels, i.e. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram
•Scheduling posts where necessary for the days you are not working
•Writing blog posts for our website
•Drafting and sending out newsletters to all our subscribers
•Uploading content onto the website
•Contacting influencers and bloggers to encourage them to review our products or wear them in return for a social media post
•Reach out to celebrities, i.e. reality stars, and offer to send them products for upcoming holidays etc
•Brainstorming and coming up with new ideas on how to increase outreach and increase our social media followers

Desired profile

Preferably have a degree, or studying for a degree, in Journalism, PR or Marketing but not necessary.

Strong advantage if you are an avid social media user with a presence on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc

Keen interest in fashion, social media and marketing

Highly organised and efficient

Creative with lots of inititiative

Superb communicator
