The company:
Lutetia Capital is an independent asset manager, created in 2009 and specialized in arbitrage strategies. The team is one of the leading merger arbitrage and volatility arbitrage specialists in Europe (HFM Week Performance Award 2014, 2015 and 2016, AAA rating from Citywire and “Management Firm of the Year" from Alt Credit Intelligence in 2015). Including the two Managing Partners (and founders), around 10 people with complementary backgrounds (M&A, quantitative analysis, research, legal, risk management and operations) are working for Lutetia Capital.
Missions:
The firm is looking to strengthen its exceptionally talented team with the appointment in London of a French speaking sales assistant coming from a top University or Business School. Reporting directly to the two Managing Partners, this is a very exciting opportunity to help grow an already successful business. The responsibilities are the following:
- Help to identify suitable target prospects not utilizing merger arbitrage and volatility arbitrage, and educate them on the company’s value proposition and investment products.
- Maintain sales/prospect database and assist in data management for tracking sales activity.
- Help manage client communications, and help produce bespoke marketing material and client reports.
- Prepare and coordinate all aspects relating to Sales Presentations and Due Diligence visits. These include: logistics, presentation booklets, briefing memos, agendas, etc.
- Help implement a world class client service model, including timely and accurate responses to client inquiries and requests
Profile:
A successful candidate should meet the following requirements:
- A previous experience at an international investment management firm with meaningful experience targeting a variety of institutional investors in the UCITS world (e.g., asset managers, private banks, corporate and public pension plans, insurance companies, and investment consultants).
- A strong academic record from a top university/business school.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel regularly (European and international travel).
- Ability to sell complex investment strategies to sophisticated investors.
- Ability to work collaboratively across the organization to advance the interests of the Company.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple, time sensitive items while maintaining a calm demeanor. Flexibility, adaptability, and attention to detail are essential personality traits
