In the aerospace industry since 1950, LISI AEROSPACE is today a worldwide manufacturing (24 plants all over the world), specialist for fasteners and structural components used for the airframe as well as the engine of the aircraft. The core business of the company is metal deformation, complemented by heat-treatment, machining, coating and assembly.
Poste et missions:
We are looking for a VIE as cost accountant for City Of Industry plant to conduct on demand analysis of product cost and profitability.
Missions:
o Works in conjunction with Plant Controller to ensure timely month-end reporting.
o Provides detailed P&L analysis to Plant Controller.
o Prepares, audits, and improves creation of Profit and Loss (P&L) monthly statements.
o Implements all capital expenditure processes, tracks all payment plans and assigns a number to the asset.
o Maintains, reviews, and audits inventories including but not limited to; finish goods, raw materials, work in process (WIP), tooling, and fixed assets.
o Partner with key internal customers (i.e. operations) to ensure accurate and meaningful reporting and analysis.
o Evaluates and calculates inventory values to ensure accurate cost roll-up.
o Responsible for sustaining ERP system cost accounting module to ensure system integrity.
o Assists Plant Controller with special projects.
o Attends all required job related training (internal and external).
o Understands the work flows and procedures
Profil:
Master Degree from a five-year University in Accounting, Controlling, Audit or equivalent degree. 2 or 3 years of cost accountant experience preferably in manufacturing.
You are comfortable with Database software; Inventory software; Manufacturing software; Payroll systems; and Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
You also have good language skills ability: to read, analyze, and interpret, general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers and the general public.
Good level of English required.
