Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Planning – Flow Coordination, Ensure Best Use of Stock, Production Plan
•Efficiently Plan, Coordinate and Prioritize Supply Chain Planning activities according to Demand while respecting Cost, Profitability & Operational Constraints.
•Research, extract, synthesize and analyze data using MSQUERY, Excel Data Modeling, Pivot/PowerPivot and other Business Intelligence tools to monitor supply key performance metrics on a daily/weekly/yearly basis.
•Determine and present Supply Production Programs to Internal Stakeholders.
•Analyze the Finished products Inventory Statement in order to pull the needed Semi-finished quantities to the required Product forms and Qualities.

Executing – Flow Coordination, Ensure Best Use of Stock, Subcontracting, Quality Interpretation
•Measure and Maintain critical inventory parameters including classification and stock allocations per market demand.
•Determine and execute processes/ technical paths for stock based according to commercial portfolio needs.
•Manage stock, set priorities in order to optimize quality tests and factory operations (minimize loss, etc.).
•Determine and launch complementary quality tests.
•Contribute projects related to role/scope.
•Promptly and proactively responds to customer needs by launching Packaging Work orders according to the Packaging plan (Domestic Markets) or Sales Order Portfolio (Export Markets).

Communicating – Sales Interfaces, Team Management/Team-Orientation
•Effectively participates with professionalism and objectivity in collaborative meetings among multiple levels of internal stakeholders (peers, colleagues, middle and upper management).
•Research, identify market, sales and supply trends to anticipate, prepare and develop a strategy to build and maintain appropriate stock levels.
•Suggest prorates based on supply trend (stock quality, etc.) and exception forecast.
•Consult Seed Supply Managers (SSM) and Product Managers (PM) for proper production placement.
•Collaborate with Manufacturing Managers to optimize factory capacity and meet customer demand.
•Communicate with urgency and sensitivity, detailed and accurate data analysis of supply constraints to all stakeholders including Inventory Manager, PM, SDP and Quality Control.
•Support and explain reasoning for decisions and informs Supply Chain Planning Manager about seed availabilities while upholding a team oriented and professional demeanor.

Continuous Improvement – Ensure Best Use of Stock, Quality Interpretation, Continuous Improvement
•Adapts to changes in the organization with resourcefulness and strives to increase productivity and improve standards.
•Identify gaps in processes, proposes corrective actions, takes calculated risks and executes action plan.
•Study quality parameters, trends, genealogies, stock levels and identify root causes using quantitative support

Profile

Education and/or Experience
•2 year college diploma or equivalent, Associate degree preferred
•Minimum of 2 years of direct Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or seed industry experience preferred
•Experience with MRP/ERP (JD Edwards/JDE), SAP or Oracle
•Proficient in a Windows-based PC environment (PowerPoint, Word, Excel required)
•APICS or other certification advantageous

Other Technical Skills & Abilities:
•Working knowledge of Business Intelligence tools or reports
•Ability to create and use MSQuery/Access/SQL/Excel files for complementary analyses
