System Test Development Engineer (m/f)

Job description

Responsibilities

· System tests for various applications in the field of diesel and gas engines (off- and on-highway as well as marine)
· System validation and ECU tests at functional level including test planning, definition of test scenarios/cases and automation using a test framework
· Analysis of the results, transfer of test reports and reviews to the software developers
· Responsibility for software release, troubleshooting for the ECUs
· Support for setting up and maintaining the test infrastructure including integration of models, adaptation of the HIL hardware, expansion and adaptation of the test framework, optimisation and maintenance of the tool landscape as well as archiving of test setups and results
· Continuous development of test procedures and methods

Requirements

· Successfully completed engineering studies in the fields of computer science, automotive engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable course of studies
· Qualified completion of a recognized training course for test engineers (m/f)
· Relevant professional experience in the automotive industry, diesel or gas engines and marine applications of internal combustion engines or electronic systems
· Very good knowledge of English
· Very good knowledge of MS Office and test automation software
· Basic knowledge of a programming language (C, Python, etc)
· Team and communication skills, good ability to clarify and describe situations (test cases)
