Due to internal movement Liebherr Australia are currently seeking a motivated Site Fitter to be based at Goonyella Riverside Mine Site working a 5, 5, 4 rotating day and nightshift roster.

Reporting to the Service Manager – QLD Mining, this role will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of Liebherr’s R9800 Excavator fleet on site. We are looking to appoint a responsible and proactive employee who is capable of working independently.

The Role:

· Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical diagnosis and repairing of faults on the Liebherr R9800’s and other mining equipment on site
· Carry out all required major and minor services to site machines as directed
· Carry out maintenance and component replacements in all areas relative to site responsibilities
· Accurate completion of documentation including timesheets, maintenance repairs and any site specific documentation required

About You:

· Are Trade Qualified
· Have experience with heavy machinery, specifically Liebherr R9800 Excavators
· Demonstrated diagnostics and fault finding knowledge
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop relationships, build trust and expertise
· Motivated, hands on and eager to leverage with Liebherr brand and lead the way as best in class
· A current drivers licence is essential

A Liebherr field service vehicle will be provided to the successful candidate to fulfil this role.
