In line with its international growth, Liebherr’s venture into the United States began in 1970. Within a couple of years, the company expanded and completed its production facilities in Newport News, VA for its product line of hydraulic excavators. It was later converted into Liebherr’s manufacturing facility for mining trucks and remains home to Liebherr Mining Equipment Newport News, Co. In addition to its production facility, Liebherr markets a wide variety of products and technologies through its companies located across the United States. The companies are Liebherr- Aerospace Saline, Inc., Liebherr Gear Technology, Inc., Liebherr Automation Systems, Co., and Liebherr USA, Co., the umbrella company for eight divisions that are positioned across the United States.

The Inside Sales Coordinator is part of the Earthmoving Product Team, which serves as the product champion and liaison between the Liebherr Dealer organization and the company. The Inside Sales Coordinator will have specific responsibility for Earthmoving/Material Handling Products to include Wheel/Crawler Loaders, Dozers, Wheel/Crawler Excavators, Crawler Tractors and/or Articulated Trucks.

Responsibilities:

· Assists the other Product Team members in the preparation and processing of machine builds for all Earthmoving/Material Handling Products in LIAS system.
· Interfaces with the Sales Administration Department in the coordination of buying of inventory from Affiliates and the sale of inventory to Dealers and assisting in tracking and reporting on inventory.
· Interfaces and assists Regional Business Managers with Quotations, LIAS Builds and tracking/status of machine orders, loose attachments and sales kits.
· Creates specifications for Purchase Orders.
· Prepares quotes for specialized machines and standard machines and attachments in LIAS.
· Reviews and ensures accuracy of Purchase Orders / Quotes / LIAS Builds
· Assists in maintaining and updating Project Tracker database.
· Assists in the coordination of internal signatures for machine releases to customers and assists in coordinating shipping locations with Traffic Department.
· Communicates with dealers on the status of orders, loose attachments and sales kits
· Assists with the creation of the dealer price book.
· Assists with checking and approving Dealer orders for accuracy.
· Answers Dealer and Factory inquiries.
· Assists with inventory of machines, loose attachments and sales kits
· Communicates with shop on machine status.

Competencies:

· Ability to communicate with all levels of staff inside and outside LCE in verbal or written format.
· Possess sound judgment and high integrity with ability to perform duties in field assignments ranging from dealer locations to customer job sites.
· Proficient in PC based word processing and spreadsheets.
· Should have poise and confidence when speaking and presenting to groups
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Strong organizational and attention to detail, including accuracy with numbers.
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities.
· German or Spanish language skills desirable but not required.
· A combination of related education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree and 2 - 4 years of experience in similar or related job function.
· Travel domestically and internationally 5% of the time.
· Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and passport.
