Job description

Liebherr-Great Britain Ltd. belongs to the Liebherr Group of Companies and is responsible for sales- and servicing of Liebherr's products throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland.

A vacancy has arisen within our Human Resources department based in Biggleswade for aHR Generalist. The role contributes to the success of Liebherr – Great Britain Ltd by providing full HR administration service, ensuring that internal and external customers are dealt with professionally and efficiently whilst ensuring that the processes are followed end to end with accurate records of all stages of the process being kept and working within the Company’s key result areas; Business Performance, Customer Focus, People and Teamwork, Leadership.

Your Responsibilities

· Undertaking depot visits and planning of agenda for visits
· To support Liebherr-Contruction Equipment Ltd in Ireland in all HR functions
· Absence Management using Bradford Factor
· Arranging and co-ordinating ‘Occupational Health Referrals’ and Safety Critical Medicals as when required
· Employee Relations including disciplinary/grievance processes, restructures
· Give HR/employment law advice to managers and employees, knowing who to approach for further support and assistance
· Maintaining of personnel files both on HR database, electronic and paper based files in a timely manner, including filing
· Providing accurate and timely reports to the HR Manager for areas including but not limited to absence, turnover and recruitment
· Ensuring Recruitment procedure is followed, and adhered to, including gaining approval prior to vacancy progression (in conjunction with existing HR Generalist)
· Central point of contact for Apprenticeship Scheme
· Liaising with General Managers/Line Managers in respect of Apprentices
· Liaising with colleges regarding collation of relevant paperwork and apprentice reviews
· Co-ordination of Work Experience students within the business (assisted by HR Apprentice)
· Reviews for performance of apprentices in conjunction with the line managers.
· Super User’ for Learning Management System ‘Tell’ (assisted by HR Apprentice)
· Collation of feedback and training needs following annual appraisals
· Assist with identifying and organising relevant training following authorisation and sign-off
· Conducting induction training for new starters

Your Profile

The successful candidate will require the following:

· Full or part CIPD qualified.
· Team player with a flexible approach to work
· Good communicator at all levels
· Able to prove experience in a similar role.
