As the resources industry continues to boom, Liebherr is looking for expressions of interest from Cert III Engineering Mechanics and/or Electricians who want to upgrade to a Heavy Duty Plant Fitter. This is an opportunity to become further trade qualified, undertake OEM technical training and set yourself up in positive stead for a long and meaningful career promoting ‘Best in Class’ practices and equipment. Offering flexible working arrangements and exposure to machine builds, customer shutdowns, as well as modular replacements rebuilds and exchange.

Key responsibilities:

· Repair, maintain and overhaul mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components
· Perform diagnostic analysis and technical inspections
· Diagnose and repair minor electrical faults
· Understand complex mechanical, automotive and/or pneumatic circuitry and controls
· Operate workshop equipment including mobile lifting equipment
· Understand and implement quality control techniques

Selection Criteria:

· Cert III Engineering Mechanical and/or electrical
· Ability to work on a FIFO/DIDO roster
· Experience with reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications and manuals
· High Risk Licence LF, DG, EWP
· Current Drivers Licence
· Exposure to a Mine siteenvironment is advantageous
