Summary

Starting from £32,000 per annum | 45 hour contract  | Overnight stays  |30-35 days’ holiday (pro rata) | 10% in-store discount | Enhanced family leave

As a Store Maintenance Operative at Lidl, you’ll play a crucial role in the upkeep and improvement of our stores across your region. From groundwork repairs and plumbing to painting and decorating, this is the ideal role for a motivated jack-of-all-trades, who loves a bit of variety in their day-to-day.

What you'll do

·  Carry out structural maintenance in both stores and warehouses
·  Attend to general building and labouring work
·  Put your decorating skills to good use, including painting and tiling
·  Confidently carry out general plumbing duties
·  Frequently use power tools
·  Undertake PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) visits to store and work proactively to find and repair faults

What you'll need

·  Experience in general maintenance work
·  Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritise conflicting deadlines
·  Flexibility with regards to working hours as some evenings will be required
·  Relevant qualifications are desirable (i.e. NVQ, BTEC)
