The Planner in Central Planning is responsible for delivering sound financial analysis related to sales, margin and inventory for Victoria’s Secret PINK.   Analytics are leveraged by business unit leaders during the monthly Merchandise Planning Committee (MPC) meeting to evaluate current business performance, and to plan and align on future business unit strategies. Other types of financial analysis performed are dedicated to Total PINK sales & margin architecture (daily/weekly/monthly), with an emphasis on evaluating promotional activity performance. Supports high-level sales risk and opportunity modelling based on historical and current trends.   The Planner will collaborate with many cross functional partners from Merchandise Planning, Finance, Store Operations, Inventory Deployment and Marketing. Critical skills for success include change agility, attention to detail, the ability to self-motivate, strong excel modeling techniques and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

·  Perform business and profitability analysis with additional focus on inventory management
·  Prepare and analyze departmental reporting
·  Prepare monthly/seasonal business review analysis
·  Complete special projects as directed

Qualifications

Qualifications:

·  3-5 years financial analysis or merchandise planning experience in specialty retail or consumer products industries
·  Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; strong aptitude with numbers; retail math skills
·  Advanced computer proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and MicroStrategy
·  Strong organizational skills, able to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks/projects
·  Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-changing environment
·  Excellent team building skills
·  Comfortable with environment of change and group decision making
·  Ability to work with various levels of management throughout the organization
·  Excellent communication and presentation skills
·  Demonstrated leadership skills and strong interest in advancement
·  Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or economics
·  Advanced degree not required, MBA a plus
