POSITION SUMMARY
The Financial Analyst plays a key role on the Retail Operations Finance team by managing multi-million dollar expense budgets/forecasts for the Store Maintenance function in addition to providing ad-hoc financial analyses to influence decisions. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical thinking capabilities and great communication skills. The candidate also is enthusiastic, self-motivated, and demonstrates the ability to drive results.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop expense budgets for centralized store maintenance
• Manage the monthly forecasting process for centralized store maintenance; analyze monthly variances and present findings to leadership
• Partner with the Maintenance team and the Brands to identify risks and opportunities
• Manage budget/forecast for capital projects
• Manage approval process for store maintenance projects
• Review quotes and invoices from maintenance vendors to facilitate approval process
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS
• Organize and analyze data in Microsoft Excel
• Develop a clear understanding of processes and business issues
• Establish productive relationships with cross functional partners
• Clearly communicate points of view in a concise manner
• Present work to senior management
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated initiative and drive to achieve results
• Demonstrated ability to work independently

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business preferred
• 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Experienced in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Excellent attention to detail
