Position Summary

The Customer Data Management team has overall business accountability for Customer Data and the Customer Data Mart and supporting tools. This team is responsible for representing the data and business needs of analytics and customer marketing.

This Business Analyst role supports Customer Data Initiatives.

The Work You’ll Do

Project Support

·  You’ll support the data needs of our Analytics and Marketing departments by developing expertise in our Customer Data processes and dependencies
·  You’ll interact with vendors to support Customer Data projects
·  You’ll work with end users to manage project requirements, translating business or functional needs into technical requirements
·  You’ll assist with project planning and monitoring, and be responsible for project status and clear communication to CDM users and stakeholders
·  You’ll utilize your problem solving and analytical skills to help solve business, technical or operational issues

Steady State Support

·  You’ll support the Customer Data service requests intake process
·  You’ll support documentation of the Customer Data Mart and CDM team processes

Who You Are

Members of the Customer Data Operations team need a broad range of skills.  You don’t have to check all these boxes, but you’ll need to be adept in most of them. 

·  Technical Skills –  You have experience in designing and running test scenarios to ensure the expected outcome resulting from process or technical changes. You are familiar with office and project management tools, and will be introduced to internal tracking and ticketing systems. Intermediate SQL writing skills are desired.
·  Business Acumen & Communication –You’ll spend time interacting with users, developers and management. You’ll be responsible for clearly articulating project requirements, status and test results. You will talk with functional  counter-parts in non-technical ways so they understand how the solution design will impact data and processes.
·  Problem Solving–  Once you’re given a problem to solve and some initial directions you like to figure out how you’ll do it.  You understand the balance of when to check in for help and when to keep plugging away.  You’ll have to manage frequent changes, and be able to assess the impact of the changes to inform next course of action.
·   Project Management – You’ll be part of small and large projects, and be able to manage your deliverables and your timeline to deliver it.  You organize your work and plan on how you’ll balance multiple deliverables. You’ll learn to recognize cross functional impacts and coordinate the additional support needed to contribute to project success.
·  Curious and Driven – You’ll develop relationships with a variety of functional and technical partners, and listen to their needs or concerns. When it’s the middle of Friday and you’ve made all your immediate deadlines you spend your time researching a new technology or tools you’ve been interested in or identify opportunities for process improvement or operational efficiencies.

Qualifications

·  0- 3 years related experience in Data Analytics, Project Management, Business Intelligence Tools, Data Management, Marketing Analytics, Customer Analytics
·  Schooling related to Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: Business, finance, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations, MIS, or equivalent experience and/or certifications
