Guest Experience Internship

*DESCRIPTION*
We’re currently offering a 3-month paid internship working within our Guest Experience team. As well as gaining invaluable experience and insight into the mechanics of a fast-growth, dynamic start-up, there is every expectation that the right person will progress into a full-time role and embark on an exciting and rewarding career at Lavanda.

Here are just some of the tasks and challenges that you'll experience during the course of your internship:
* Managing guest enquiries and requests for concierge services.
* Scaling the infrastructure that enables Lavanda to better communicate with guests via phone, email and chat.
* Developing a set of standard operating procedures to deal with commonly occurring scenarios.
* Reviewing existing processes to unlock new efficiencies and service improvements.
* Being readily available across all departments.

* You need to be able to learn fast and assimilate quickly to new environments.
* You're goal-oriented. You enjoy being given realistic and achievable targets so you can then go and knock the ball out of the park.
* You’re highly organised and value structure.
* You have a cool head on your shoulders and can resolve complex issues under pressure with a smile on your face.
* You're a gifted communicator, both spoken and written. You understand the value of face-to-face conversation and would never shy away from it.
* You’re confident and autonomous. You have have a strong work ethic coupled with a “can do” attitude.
* You're a creative problem solver who enjoys finding simple solutions to complex problems.

Desired profile

* Good degree (2:1 or above) from a top-tier university.
* You're motivated by being a key player in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment. You’re hungry for responsibility and keen to move into a full-time role where your performance will be recognised and rewarded in line with your impact you have on the business.
* You can confidently manipulate data in spreadsheets, and are comfortable working with other business software applications.
* You're technology savvy and understand the critical role that tech plays in scaling complex operations.
* You've experienced Airbnb before, either as a guest or a host, and are passionate about the sharing economy and its potential to disrupt both the real estate and hospitality industries.
