A "tier 1" international partner group of the world's leading aircraft manufacturers (Airbus, Embraer, Dassault, Boeing, Bombardier), Latecoère operates in all segments of aeronautics (commercial, regional, business and military aircraft), in two areas of activity:
? Aerostructure Industry (58% of revenue): fuselage sections and doors.
? Interconnection systems (42% of turnover): wiring, electrical furniture and on-board equipment.

1. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
The project consists in the modification of a business aircraft fuselage in terms of, among other things, the position of the doors, the modification of the windows in size, position... Activities will be limited to structure, there will be no modification of door mechanisms. To date, the exact scope of the modifications has yet to be determined and will be defined by the end customer at the beginning and during the project.
2. DESIGN ACTIVITIES
The designers shall prepare the design drawings and complete design data work package ready for production, including assembly and installation drawings as applicable. Designers shall be responsible to meet program schedule and release dates for design data as defined by the group leader. Designers shall work according to end customer design practices and standards.
a. DEFINITION OF TASKS
Tasks will include:
- Develop detail design layouts;
- Release of production ready files for installations, assemblies and parts utilizing CATIA V5 and customer PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) tools;
- Participate to the MRB.
b. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications shall include:
- Education
- Aeronautical Eng. / Mechanical Eng. BSc (or equivalent);
- Knowledge in the design of aircraft structures and systems installation;
- Understanding of airframe structural design and understanding of load paths and preliminary sizing;
- Strong mechanical design and integration skills using 3D CAD software;
- CATIA V5 CAD experience

- Material selection, compatibility and manufacturing techniques;
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English;
- Must be able to work both independent or in group.
