OUR PROGRAM

The L’Oréal Apprenticeship Program (1 year) offers you your first entry into the industry, and insight into how life at L’Oréal is like! Get involved with the inner workings of a successful, market-leading Beauty company, as you collaborate and learn from some of the most passionate, intelligent and creative people.

By the end of this apprenticeship, you will gain beauty industry experience in various aspects of Merchandising & Design, and watch your ideas come to life. Learn more about brand perception as you coordinate with the various L’Oréal brands and be part of the team supporting successful product launches on the ground.

Fresh graduate of any local/overseas institutions; early career professionals with no more than 1 year of experience are welcome to apply.

Apprenticeship Commitment: Jan 2020 – Dec 2020 (1 year)

HOW CAN YOU CONTRIBUTE?

Do you have a good eye for design? Do you possess a creative mind?

We are looking to hire a Merchandising & Design apprentice who are strong in project management and passionate in communicating the different brand messages across to consumers on the ground.

Be prepared to get hands-on with multiple L’Oréal brands in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·  Support merchandising activities regionally across different countries and brands
·  Coordinate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders
·  Create and design the retail and merchandising images for different brands as point-of-sale-materials (POSMs)

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE:

·  Strong multi-tasking skill & sense of urgency (good time management)
·  Artistic sensitivity with sense of beauty.  
·  Takes initiative and able to work independently with strong follow-up skills
·  Committed and resilient individual who is able to work under pressure and tight working timelines
·  Good interpersonal skill with strong follow-up skills
·  Flexible & quick to adapt to fast-paced and evolving working environment
·  Able to commit for the entire period of apprenticeship

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

September – October: Selection and assessment

October– Early November: Interviews

November– December: Offer extensions

January 2020: Program commences
