Our sales teams are looking for high-performing and motivated students to develop into the sales and business development professionals of the future – the 2.0 version in a world where sales and distribution of consumer products are multi-channel and multi-platform and the market dynamics are ever-changing. The L’Oréal Sales Co-Op Internship Program provides students with the opportunity to work at our corporate headquarters in New York within our Consumer Products Division.

The Program:

You will be working within our Consumer Products Division. The Consumer Products Division makes the best of cosmetic innovation available to the greatest number of people on every continent. Its brands are distributed in mass, drug, specialty & food retailing channels. These brands offer a wide range of coloring products, hair care, makeup and skin care. Within the division,

This co-op program will be a 19-week assignment (Monday, January 13 th , 2020 through Friday, May 22 nd , 2020) on a part-time basis (20 hours per week). Within the division, you will be placed onto a team within one of the following sales areas:  

·  Account Sales
·  Brand Business Development
·  Category Development
·  Customer Marketing
·  e-Commerce
·  Future of Retail
·  New Business Development
·  Revenue Growth Management

This co-op program is a path for consideration into the Consumer Products Division’s Sales Summer Internship Program after completion of junior year based on overall performance.

What You Will be Doing:

You will be integrated into the day-to-day business within sales which may consist of:

·  Routinely communicating & collaborating with your assigned team in an effort to support the business achieve divisional goals
·  Maintaining, developing and evaluating routine reporting within your assigned team
·  Aid in identifying areas for opportunity and introduce innovative recommendations to your team
·  Networking and learn about multiple functions (Digital, Supply Chain, Finance, R&I and Marketing)

Who You Are:

·  You thrive in a fast paced environment and can manage multiple projects simultaneously
·  You are resourceful and can successfully move a project forward when given vague or new tasks
·  You have strong attention to detail and enjoy analytics!
·  You are able to work both collaboratively on group initiatives and autonomously on individual projects
·  You have demonstrated leadership ability and interest in the area of sales through previous internship experience, extra-curricular activities and/or volunteer work
·  You are a self-starter with strong collaboration and networking skills

Eligibility Requirements:

·  Completion of freshman year of an undergraduate academic program with an anticipated graduation date of Spring or Summer 2022 is required
·  Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 required
·  You must be legally authorized to work in the US on a permanent and on-going future basis without requiring sponsorship
·  You have reliable transportation to and from your assigned work office location
·  able to work the entirety of the 19-week co-op program in 2020, starting on Monday, January 13 th  and ending Friday, May 22 n d
·  You are able to work part-time (20 hours per week) through-out the duration of the co-op program
·  Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills
·  Experience with data is a plus!
