Junior Research Engineer in Microbiology / Molecular biology

Missions:

Working closely with members of the Microbiology Corporate to perform and carry on the development of evaluation tests with Microbiological readouts that are currently being settled.

Write protocols, SOPs, scientific reports, and posters

Ensure a scientific watch in his/her field of expertise

Identify new methodologies, study protocols and provide expertise to meet thedemands and anticipate future needs.
Prepare effective presentations to internal and external audience

Desired profile:

Master degree or a fresh Ph.D. in Microbiology. Knowledge and experience: in various microorganisms handling, manipulation and cultivation are a must, in cellular biology (human cells culture,) and biochemistry applied to bacterial identification are highly appreciated.

knowledge in NGS technologies and hands-on experience in Sequencing platforms and technologies applied to Microbiology is a plus.

Sensitivity to Quality assurance and environmental, health and safety (EHS) approach (BSL2 Lab environment)
Fluent in English and French

Good oral and writte communication and teamwork skills

Ability to adapt quickly to new environments,self-motivated and critical thinking.
