L’Oréal Australia’s Operations includes our Warehouse, Customer Care, Master Data and Supply Chain teams. These teams work in partnership with our Divisions to ensure we continuously improve our supply chain and achieve greater agility and efficiency to meet the needs of our distributor customers. Operations have an important responsibility to focus on uncompromising standards of quality control, employee safety and our environmental commitments.

We are seeking a Credit Controller to join our Customer Care team based at our distribution centre in Dandenong South. This role is a 12 month fixed term contract . Reporting to the Credit Team Leader in this full function credit role you will effectively manage all credit functions including providing accounts receivable services to internal and external stakeholders. Possessinga customer centric approach to create and maintain customer relationships to proactively retrieve customer payments within appropriate terms. Working across a diverse customer base located in Queensland and Western Australia you will have the flexibility to start and finish your day aligned to your customers.

About the role

•High volume telephone collections calls (inbound and outbound)

•Effective management of credit issues and risks via blocking and releasing orders daily in accordance of Credit Policy

•Escalate action on overdue accounts by proactively communicating with Credit Supervisor and Sales Teams

•Daily matching of EFT’s, BPAY, Credit Cards and Cheque

•Risk review new and existing customers to minimise bad and doubtful debts

•Effectively resolve disputed invoices

•Build strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders

•To provide timely and accurate reporting

•Maintain notes and account details of any changes.

About you

You will be an experienced credit controller who thrives in a fast-paced and creative environment. A strong networker, you will be able to establish credibility and buy in from internal and external stakeholders at all levels of our business. Previous experience managing a high volume portfolio will be highly sought along with a commercial and outcome focus. Previous experience using SAP is highly desirable.
