Function:               Education

Section 2:  Job Summary :

Oversee all counter tools as well as seminar literature.  Manage the planning and execution of education programs throughout the country as it relates to Seasonal, Basic, corporate seminars, webinars, account specific training needs, in close partnership with the FSVP’s/RSD’s.  Work closely with Account Executives to ensure retail achievement. Oversee the planning and execution of learning programs throughout the country as it relates to Luxury Service Sense, Basic, Seasonal Seminars, Intersell training as well as account specific training needs, in close partnership with the General Manager and the FSVP’s/RSD’s.  Work closely with Education Managers and Account Executives to develop their training skills and make sure Fragrance/Beauty Consultant/ Face Designers needs are met. Ensure the LUXE Client Experience is understood and executed at all counters.  Monitor talent management tools and reports to strategize performance and retail achievement. 

Section 3:   Job Requirements :

 1. Bachelor degree and minimum of 10 years’ experience in fragrance/cosmetic or retail management

2. Self motivated, results oriented, creative thinker

3. Strong communication, presentation and organizational skills

4. Analytical in approach to identifying opportunities

5. Knowledge and awareness of beauty industry, market and competitive trends

6. Strong negotiation skills

7. Ability to establish strong working relationships

8. Proficient computer skills necessary – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Section 4:   Judgment and Decision Making :

Impactful force in strategic focus of the Education, Events & Retail Excellence team.  Intermittent supervision of decisions and judgments by General Manager.

Annual Budget Responsibility:  personal T&E budget, education meeting budget, oversee the T&E and event budgets, Seminar budget for entire brand

  Section 7:   Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

 

·  Adapt Education modules provided by the French head office to the needs of the North American market, in line with US marketing direction.  
·  Drives conceptualization, initiation and development of new USA Education content, programs and materials targeted to the business needs of Designer Fragrances and future beauty needs.  
·  Develop and lead fragrance and future beauty education strategy across all North America touchpoints including seminars, in store, and digital learning.  
·  Train Field Sales Teams on product knowledge, advanced fragrance techniques, and selling behaviors, functioning as a resource and leader, providing product and sales expertise. Beauty experience is a plus.  
·  Develop training and selling strategies for the field for new launches as well as global portfolio.  
·  Conceptualize, develop and execute the event strategy for Designer Fragrances & Beauty. Identify and elevate the client experience for fragrance and beauty across retailer channels and staffing levels.  
·  Deliver compelling and effective education seminars and support tools for Specialty Store, Sephora and Department Store FSE (fragrance sales executives).  
·  Increase fragrance and beauty sales executives job retention through on boarding tools, tracking turnover, and additional retention programs.  
·  Drive field development by leading field development programs for all field layers.  
·  Create engaging launch education tools for Designer Fragrance and future beauty sales executives and Intersell Associates where needed based on launch.  
·  Partner with Key Account Managers on retailer centric training platforms and team development needs.  
·  Partner with France education team to provide ongoing feedback and communication on North America needs and content development.  
·  Develop training necessary by account including video script writing content for Sephora, in collaboration with Sephora SES lead.  
·  Lead the development and strategic planning of the Education Manager team for North America.  
·  Pulse education content to the field based on launch priority, key times.  
·  Present Education Initiatives in Seasonal Retailer Meetings.
