Job description

Job Summary:

The Sr. Analyst/Manager, Supply Planning influences leadership across the organization to optimize the service level and inventory for the Active Cosmetic Division. Accountable for the stock equation (production plan and inventory) and anticipating and reacting to any threat to service or inventory goals.

Key Job Responsibilities:

·  Accountable for multiple brands
·  Influences business decision making and resolves obstacles
·  Accountable for the overall results of their brand and projects
·  Product availability and risk communication on new launches, on-going products and end of life to domestic and international customers
·  Monthly Planning cycle – challenge and ensure the quality of demand and orders passed to plant and affiliates
·  Backorder and Service cuts follow up with plant and customers
·  Work with plant to reduce blocked horizon in order to increase reactivity
·  Solicit Demand Uncertainty Input from Division to determine safety stock levels
·  Challenge viability of new launches by review of Marketing Brief and the Logistics Launch Data sheet in order to avoid creation of excess
·  Prevent excess for on-going products by monthly review of productions yielding excess and potential batch size reduction or discontinuation
·  Minimize Obsoletes at time of restage (run-out analyses)
·  ADI communication and approval with international customers and Marketing
·  Leads international catalogue, challenges production that generates more than six months of coverage
·  Master Data Maintenance in SAP
·  Import planning cycle - calculate import orders and transmit to Burgos
·  Challenge Industrial Logistics action plan to ensure the optimization of service & inventory

Educational Background/Experience:

·  Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or related fields
·  3-5 years' experience in related Supply Chain field, preferably in Consumer Products industry
·  Ability to work independently in a very flat, entrepreneurial-minded division with minimal hierarchy
·  Good understanding of Supply Chain, Launch process, distribution network
·  Strong PC skills, advanced Excel skills; ability to analyze and manipulate large amounts of data
·  Create and interpret stock equations, forecast pyramids, excess calculations
·  Strong analytical skills to evaluate root cause analysis
·  SAP or equivalent experience
