We are looking for a high performing individual to join our CPD Commercial Finance teamtoensure adherence to key internal controls and to manage the commercial payment cycle. This is an exciting opportunity forsomebodywith a financial background: We are looking for a high performing individual to assist the Sales Team in maximising profitable sales opportunities and the Commercial Controller in monitoring the commercial P&L evolution in order to promote optimal decision making within the business.

Key Highlights of the role:

Deal to cash management:

•Timelyclearing of invoices against balance sheet accrual according to group norms
•Closelyinteraction with commercial, credit and finance teams and building long-term relationships

Process improvements:

•Regularlyimplementing process improvements in terms improving the efficiency of the deal to cash process

Audit compliancy:

•Ensuringand checking that all payments are made only after all group norm requirement are guaranteed through controls and input from stakeholders
•Supporton resolving internal/external audit claims received fromcustomers

Commercial Finance team support

•Clearcommercial debt conforming to internal control procedures
•Ensure sales teams comply with promotional accrual processes and raise provisions using SAP
•Report provision balances to sales teams on a regular basis
•Assist Commercial Controller / Sales teams with the preparation of account P&Ls and their interpretation
•Preparation of key commercial reports
•Ad hoc projects to improve controls /reporting

You Are:

Alongside experience in a similar role, you should be confident demonstrating all of the following:

•Advancedexperience in SAP: SD side focused
•Excellent analytical skills
•Result oriented, not scared to drill down to the detail, strong communication skills
•Outstanding Excel skills
•Strong interpersonal skills
•Planner / well organised
•Problem solver
•Canworkautonomouslyas well as being a greatteam player

This role will also require travel to Hammersmith Head Office 2-3 times per month
