The Role

The PQA LDO Advisor will be involved in all aspects of delivering the qualifications that PQA deliver to the Audit, TPL, Consulting and DA capability groups, your role will see you taking ownership of the processes around certain qualifications and ensuring our trainees are supported from joining the firm through to qualification. You will be expected to liaise with our internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis to ensure the smooth running of the qualifications. You will report to the PQA LDO Team Leader.
PQA provides first-class support and guidance to the trainee population along with establishing relationships with tuition providers, institutes, PLs and HR in order to make KPMG’s training environment the best it can be, helping our trainees achieve market leading exam pass rates. Currently PQA are supporting approximately 4,000 trainees studying for a number of professional qualifications across the various capability groups.
As a PQA LDO Advisor, you will sit across all qualifications that PQA support and your aim will be to achieve operational excellence in all you do.

Responsibilities

• Your key responsibilities will be:
• responsible for 80% of the PQA trainee journey
• results processing;
• invoice/budget first level management;
• course and exam bookings;
• accommodation bookings;
• to advise on CPL, training records and Institute membership processes for trainees;
• assessment and monitoring of trainee progress results;
• PQA website maintenance;
• HR liaison;
• claw back calculations;
• maintaining trainee records;
• PQA LDO administrator coaching and support;
• answering trainee queries;
• monitor and respond to queries across a variety of qualifications via team mailboxes;
• liaise with training providers and the business to ensure processes run smoothly and documentation is timely and accurate;
• Support the Qualification Managers and other Advisors to deliver a high level of client service;
• Assist with the PQA elements of the School Leaver and Graduate Induction;
• Assist the Team Leader and wider PQA team on ad hoc project work where appropriate;

The candidate needs to be able to demonstrate:

• the ability to build effective relationships, rapport, trust and mutual respect with our internal and external stakeholders;
• excellent organisational skills with ability to manage a high workload with conflicting priorities in a fast paced environment;
• effective listening, communication and questioning skills;
• an understanding of people with regard to what motivates and drives them and how they work and learn;
• intermediate/advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP and Outlook;
• the ability to adapt personal style to suit the circumstances;
• good project management skills, particularly managing stakeholders’ expectations and proactively communicating issues, solutions and progress;
• an ability and willingness to present where appropriate;
• excellent administrative skills, proving that they are both organised and flexible with a high attention to detail;
• willingness to be involved in presenting course information to trainees within the qualifications under your remit.
