KPMG's Finance division are looking for a highly talented National Payroll Officer to join our growing Payroll team on a full time basis offering high quality end-to-end payroll processing services to the Australian firm.

Your new role:

As a Payroll Officer, you will work closely with the Senior Manager to deliver payroll processing services on a weekly and fortnightly basis. You will be responsible for ensuring that the payroll is processed in line with local rules and legislation. You will also be responsible for leveraging your experience to support continuous improvement initiatives within the team. Your role will include:
·  Processing of weekly and fortnightly payrolls for the employees of the Australian firm
·  Support the Payroll Manager with compliance on payroll statutory obligations and reporting requirements
·  Process payroll related third party payments, including superannuation , PAYG , payroll tax
·  Developing strong relationships with Finance and PPC. You bring to the role
·  Strong working knowledge of payroll in Australia
·  At least 5 years' experience running payroll
·  Exceptional customer service and communication skills across all levels of the business
·  Excellent interpersonal skills with enthusiasm and drive
·  The ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines
·  Fast and accurate data entry with strong attention to detail
·  Working knowledge of large payroll systems such as SAP is desirable
