Our ERS team brings a number of key elements under one umbrella, Reward, Employment Solutions and Employee Benefit Solutions all delivering a wide range of services. The scope is broad, covering payroll and HMRC compliance, employee reward and benefit strategy design including technology, executive strategic reward, valuation services, workforce management and advice on national minimum wage and gender pay gap. Our technology team provides cutting-edge solutions and tools to help clients in both the GMS and ERS space, helping them meet their compliance requirements, work more effeciently and minimise their risk.

Our People Services practice encompasses a wide range of areas across Global Mobility Services (GMS) and Employer Reward Services (ERS).

Our GMS team assists organisations to manage their globally mobile workforce. We provide a single source of advisory and compliance experience covering all aspects of
international assignments. Services range from income tax compliance, advising on international social security and pensions through to helping clients to design their global mobility policies or move into a new territory.

Our ERS team brings a number of key elements under one umbrella, Reward, Employment Solutions and Employee Benefit Solutions. The scope is broad, covering employer withholding and reporting compliance (such as national minimum wage and gender pay gap), employee reward and benefit strategy design. It includes technology, executive strategic reward, valuation services, and workforce management..

Role & Responsibilities:

-
Building and maintaining good relationships with clients
- Being the day-to-day contact for allocated clients
- Preparation of Income Tax calculations
- Preparation of Tax Equalisation calculations
- Conduct arrival/departure briefings
- Preparation of written advice for clients
- Project management of advisory projects carried out for clients
- Ensuring clients are provided with up to date information on GMS developments
- Involvement in business development/proposals
- Working with large clients/mid-size clients

Experience and Background:
We anticipate that you will currently be working in a role involving one or more of the following areas:
- Accounting, Finance and Internal Audit
- IT, systems and data & analytics
- Logistics and supply chain management
- Law
- Sales & marketing

You should have:
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience
- Excellent written and spoken English as well as Japanese (equivalent to JLPT N1)
- Understanding of Japanese professional practices and business customs
- Curiosity about the world of business and how commercial organisations adapt to changing market conditions
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm and professional when working to deadlines
- The confidence and ability to question established practices and processes and suggest improvements
- The flexibility to be able to respond to sudden changes in workload
- Good knowledge of Word and Excel packages would also be advantageous
- Your enthusiasm, ambition and curiosity are what we seek
