The Financial Statement Audit is the cornerstone of KPMG's Audit practice. Our audit methodology is a risk-based methodology for financial statement audits. With the rapid and dramatic changes in today's business world, comes new and increasingly complex risks. Helping to make sense of these risks and how they are reflected in an organization's financial performance is the role of our audit process. The innovative audit tools we use are a reflection of KPMG's approach to mirroring the needs of our clients.

The daily tasks of a Trainee involve:

·  Working in a team-based environment carrying out compilation, reviewing and auditing tasks under direct supervision
·  Provide support for accounting services
·  Develop accounting skills
·  Being proficient in accounting standards to produce clear, well-structured and effective audit documentation
The requirements :

·  Studying for a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accountancy, 2nd or 3rd year.
·  Sufficient knowledge of Accounting (including Auditing and Controlling)
·  Demonstrating a continuous learning mindset
·  A critical attitude
·  Analytical
·  Strong interpersonal and communication skills
·  Fluent in Dutch and English
The duration of the internship is 5 months starting as of September 2017.
