Our Corporates Assurance business works with a range of companies in different sectors, including those from the FTSE 100. We provide a broad range of Assurance (audit related) services both to audit and non-audit clients including:

To support our objective of centralising and growing our Assurance work across Corporates Audit we have a fantastic opportunity for Assistant Managers to join our team. They will be responsible for delivering these engagements from within an exciting and newly formed Assurance hub.

Areas of responsibility
Engagement delivery
·

Liaise directly with clients to plan Assurance fieldwork and information requirements
·

Juggle multiple client requests when working on different Assurance engagements
·

Assist manager in completing engagement and client acceptance procedures
·

Draft engagement letters for known/current/ongoing Assurance work
·

Prepare e-AudIT file (KPMG’s electronic audit file) at the start of each Assurance engagement
·

Oversee work performed by onshore and offshore juniors
·

Help develop template e-AudIT files for different types of Assurance engagements
·

Prepare final Assurance reports for manager review.
Resolve queries as they are raised.
·

Ensure e-AudIT file is complete prior to Assurance report being signed
·

Support manager in engagement finances and budgeting
General
·

Support manager in preparing and monitoring engagement budgeting
·

Direct and coach onshore and offshore juniors to assist them in the effective delivery of engagements
·

Support in developing and improving the standardised Assurance work programmes
Qualifications and Skills
Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CA or international equivalent, with at least two years of experience within Audit at either a Big 4 or mid-tier firm.Experienced in preparing audit/Assurance working papers.Ability to identify and resolve issues, or escalate as appropriate.Good communication skills, both written and verbal.The desire to work in a diverse environment and undertake new challenges.Strong project management techniques including analytical skills, time management, prioritisation and organisation skills.Strong IT literacy, including Excel and Word.
