Role

We are currently seeking to hire a paralegal secretary who will join our Risk Management department on a permanent basis. The role will be based in our Stokes Place office in Dublin 2.

We ideally need you to have the following on your CV:

·  2 -3 years of similar experience in a legal firm or professional services environment;
·  Familiarity with legal documents and proven paralegal/legal executive experience;
·  Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
·  Team player but also equally comfortable to use own initiative;
·  Willingness to grow within the organisation;
·  Experience working for solicitors who deal with litigation, commercial and corporate work.

The successful candidate will also provide general assistance in the operational activities of the department supporting the day-to-day requirements.

Your work will be varied. Below will be some of your core responsibilities:

·  Provision of accurate pro-active Paralegal/legal secretarial support to in-house legal team;
·  Review of NDA's and similar agreements;
·  Preparation of correspondence, legal agreements, briefing documents, reports and presentations;
·  Scheduling and management of appointments, meetings and travel arrangements within rapidly changing set of priorities and demands;
·  Drafting of emails, letters and other correspondence;
·  General secretarial duties together with project administrative work;

KPMG In House Legal Team

The in house legal team is responsible for contracting, data protection and litigation matters on behalf of the firm. The in house legal team forms part of KPMG's Risk Management department. KPMG Risk Management department is responsible for safeguarding the firm's professional reputation by ensuring that firms engagements are undertaken in accordance with established policies and procedures and by identifying and responding to new risks as they emerge.
