KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, DevOps Engineering to join our Digital Business Transformation organization. This opportunity is open to internal candidates from all KPMG US locations and external candidates interested in being based in one of the cities listed within this posting.

Responsibilities:

·  Support the development of roadmaps and participate in the standards process for DevOps solutions
·  Partner with App Dev teams to develop solution designs
·  Maintain deep technical and business knowledge of industry directions and trends in the area of DevOps engineering
·  Drive to deliver technology and products in the roadmap on schedule and with the highest quality
·  Provide advice, guidance and direction to carry out plans and procedures, ensuring schedule attainment, product development process adherence, performance and budget targets are met
·  Deliver last tier support for operations and support teams, including root cause analysis and preventative analysis

Qualifications:

·  Minimum five years of experience in an IT environment, managing and supporting projects
·  Minimum three years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment
·  Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
·  Demonstrated hands-on experience with software development (coding), build automation, continuous integration and related tools such as Jenkins, continuous delivery and application release orchestration (ARO) tools and platforms; Experience should span private, public and hybrid cloud environments
·  Hands-on experience with: Linux scripting, Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, Python, PowerShell, IT automation, SaltStack, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, “Infrastructure as Code”. Red Hat Open Shift certification is a plus
·  Strong verbal/written communication, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority; Strong trouble-shooting and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously; ability to participate in resource planning processes based on defined organizational plans
