The role

Create Graphics is recognised as being the leader in terms of creative output and quality to the whole firm.
You will be working as part of The Create Graphics Team to produce high quality deliverables to the whole firm. The Junior Artworker supports internal KPMG clients in producing creative, comprehensive layout and design for internal/external marketing collateral/bids and client deliverables and assisting in preparation of original artwork for print or electronic documents. The Junior Artworker will be working within KPMG brand guidelines and with pre-set templates and copy to produce accurate products. Be a trusted and knowledgeable resource for Create Graphics and clients, this position requires full knowledge and application of the firm’s visual identity; The Junior Artworker will understand and anticipate the clients’ needs and expectations and manage them accordingly.
Working onsite with a client project team, or in the office, the Junior Artworker provides a valuable service to our KPMG clients. Output is frequently high profile; the quality, accuracy and timeliness of the end product is therefore of critical importance.
Key responsibilities
■Provide professional and functional design support on deliverables/bids that align with business needs and which adhere to KPMG/client’s corporate style and brand.
■Develop technical knowledge and the ability to finalise ongoing projects and manage rapid response requests for design, print and electronic deliverables within the KPMG brand.
■Execute routine design projects, effectively prioritising work and balancing multiple priorities simultaneously.
■Working with Creative Leads / Graphic Designers to assist with artworking conceptual layouts.
■Develop knowledge and application of KPMG’s visual identity; promote awareness of visual identity in the business. Keep up to date with the evolution of KPMG’s brand.
■Follow the JobTrack document submission process in accordance with standards and protocols.
■Work with team members to implement and drive internal initiatives/projects which contribute to an enhanced service offering and promote awareness within KPMG.
Assist project teams and consultants with creative/visual interpretation of concepts and key messages in a KPMG branded document.
■Flexibility to meet consultant and project team demands in order to produce the required output, including remote working, client site work, weekend or after-hours work.
■Demonstrate flexibility by assisting Workflow in dealing with ad hoc enquiries and rapid response requests.
■Will be required to undergo training in other disciplines to assist when necessary.
■Proof read documents for typographical errors and inconsistencies in layout.

■Maintain awareness of latest techniques, software packages, equipment, best practices and developments within the design community.
■Customer service focused, and able to liaise and influence staff at all levels
■Professional, confident and enthusiastic team player with a flexible can-do attitude.
■Work effectively in a team environment, including co-working on projects, co-developing ideas, giving and receiving constructive feedback.
■Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise an often conflicting workload.
■Excellent work ethic and the ability to thrive in a time-sensitive environment. Flexible and adaptable to fluctuating workflow levels.

■12 months’ experience working in a professional presentation graphics department.
Work and experience
■Proven experience working as a graphics operator in a professional presentation graphics department.
Qualifications
■Minimum 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including English grades A-C.
