Role:

We are currently seeking to hire a qualified solicitor for a permanent opportunity, based in Dublin 2. The successful candidate will be part of the In house legal team who specialise in commercial contracts, litigation, regulatory matters and data protection.

We ideally need you to have the following on your CV:

·  PQE 2 years minimum - certification in Compliance or Data Protection / GDPR an advantage.
·  Experience in providing Data Protection and GDPR advise form both a compliance and contractual perspective
·  Experience on large scale data projects, in relation to collection and processing of data and/or review and production of data.
·  Experience working on larger scale document review or discovery type exercises a particular advantage.
·  Experience working with an ediscovery type program also a particular advantage (e.g. Clearwell, Relativity, Summation, InControl etc.).
·  Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative with minimal direction, following a set process.
·  Ability to work to tight deadlines, dealing with large volumes of data (collection, processing and/or review).
·  Attention to detail, with an ability to review work for quality control purposes.
·  Ability to work in an innovative manner.
·  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Your work will be varied. Below will be some of your core responsibilities:

·  Work with the KPMG in house legal team in establishing systems and procedures to ensure compliance with the Data Protection Laws and GDPR compliance.
·  Provision of legal advice to KPMG and KPMG engagement teams in relation to Data Protection and GDPR contractual obligations.
·  Manage interaction with Data Subjects regarding processing of their personal data.
·  Administer the company's Data Subject Rights Request procedure.
·  Experience on large scale data projects, in relation to collection and processing of data and/or review and production of data.
·  Experience working on larger scale document review or discovery type exercises a particular advantage.
·  Experience working with an ediscovery type program also a particular advantage (e.g. Clearwell, Relativity, Summation, InControl etc.).
