Our people are at the heart of our continued success. Being part of KPMG is being part of a community of talented and innovative people, working together to have a positive, lasting impact on clients. No one type of person succeeds at KPMG; a diverse business requires diverse personalities, characters and perspectives. Whoever you are, there is a place for you here.

About the programme

If you are applying to this graduate scheme, there is no doubt you will be aware of the vast, unstoppable reach of technology. Present and potent in every industry and every household, technology and the use of data shape the way we live and work.

As a graduate at KPMG, you will learn the skills to analyse, advise and deliver solutions to a range of client issues. This could mean helping an investment bank manage systems and data compliance with trading regulations, or supporting a software giant in the release of their latest suite of products. We work extensively on data architecture, data quality and data governance and how data can be used for business advantage. Our teams work on projects such as integrating financial data with Cloud based General ledgers , risk management and risk reporting, and improved automation using cognitive techniques to reduce costs in key client processes.

We take pride in our people at KPMG, we look to recruit those with existing skills as well as those keen to develop a career in technology and to solve business issues in an innovative and sustainable manner. We work in teams, with clients, on projects to solve problems quickly. We invest in new methods, new tools and new capabilities, so if you are interested in investing in a career in technology consulting at KPMG then we will invest in you.

Key skills required

People who excel are passionate about continually adapting their skills and knowledge to solve our clients’ most challenging problems. You will need to have an interest in the challenges facing our clients today and be prepared to advise them or assist with a technological solution that will drive their business practices into the future.

Whilst you don’t necessarily have to be a technical guru, we are looking for individuals who have an interest in technology and a desire to get involved in a variety of complex projects, build knowledge quickly and develop their technical skills through a combination of on the job and formal training. Most importantly, you’ll be comfortable working with technology in order to meet the client’s needs.

We encourage applicants who are interested in a career in technology and display a willingness to learn new technical roles. Graduates who have prior application development experience can pursue more technical roles if desired, but all graduates get the chance to acquire and deepen technical skills and navigate their career as suits them best.

What are we looking for you to show us?

During the recruitment process, you will need to demonstrate KPMG's Global Behavioural Capabilities which will give us confidence you’ll be successful in the firm.
