Job description

The Account Management & Business Development (BD) team facilitate the management and delivery of our account management programme, focused on supporting key account teams in developing, growing and managing their respective accounts.

We are looking for an Account Management Executive with relevant experience to support our growing portfolio. Reporting to the Associate Director, Account Management, you will:

• Form part of the accounts team to support named accounts.
• Provide support and follow up to key activities required as part of account planning.
• Support account management initiatives, which will include and not limited to supporting the Business Development teams
• Provide logistic and administrative support for the delivery of training & development programmes related to the key account management programme
• Coordinate and provide support to the BD team on account management related tasks such as setting up account plan reviews with respective stakeholders and maintain the client account management dashboard for the teams

Some Key Activities will include:

• Proactively setting up Account team meetings and follow up meetings
• Capturing key actions and minutes of meetings and next steps
• Help drafting communications to clients / internal teams
• Entering in key pipeline / opportunities on behalf of the account team
• Producing reports and presentations to provide key updates on contacts, follow-up, pipeline, wins and revenue.
• Desktop research to support the account teams and working with various groups to obtain key information for the account

The candidate will work closely with both infrastructure and client-facing teams in the firm. The ideal candidate should possess the following:

• Diploma/Tertiary degree or equivalent (preferably in a finance, accounting, business, marketing , or information technology discipline)
• At least 2 years of experience working with all levels of management to assess business needs Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint
• Experience in finance, accounting or other professional services sector is advantageous
• The Client and Service orientated mind-set with a can-do attitude
• Meticulous and pays attention to detail
• A proactive communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong work ethic and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills and being able to anticipate needs of the account team /client
• Excellent team player
