Roles and Responsibilities

Our Courtwork Team is dedicated to dealing with the affairs of insolvent individuals and companies. The team deals with in excess of 500 insolvencies, realising the assets and distributing the proceeds to those creditors still owed money. It also oversees a number of investigation based compulsory liquidations.
This opportunity is an exciting route into a dynamic, fast paced working environment with extensive opportunities available for the right candidate.

You will be responsible for the following:
- You will be providing comprehensive assistance to the administrators and management team in respect of their management of their case portfolios.
- This will include dealing with telephone calls, drafting letters and emails and replying to correspondence from creditors, bankrupts, solicitors and other interested parties.
- You will be responsible for drafting formal reports to creditors.

Qualifications and Skills
- 3 A-Levels
- GCSE A-C Maths and English.
- Experience of working in a restructuring team is desirable but not essential.
- A good working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- You will have good organisational and prioritisation skills, along with an ability to work effectively under pressure to reach deadlines.
- An ability to use your own initiative and consult, when appropriate, whilst being a strong team player is essential.
- Good people skills, with an aptitude for dealing confidently and articulately with all parties in what can sometimes be difficult situations.
- Strong oral and written communication skills. This must include the ability to adapt one’s style in order to suit a variety of differing clients.
- Willingness to travel and work away from the office when required.
- Valid driving licence is essential.
