KPMG is currently seeking a Business Analyst in State and Local for ourManagement Consulting practice.  New York, Boston, Providence

Responsibilities:

·  Perform development, including user interface development and/or integration tasks
·  Write new, or modify existing, technical module physical design and/or programming specifications and analyze, design, and produce solution documentation and enhancements
·  Communicate technical architecture and development requirement
·  Manage technical integration workflow, providing consultation to team members in technical integration design
·  Review business process and information security controls to help provide effective, efficient, and secure access to information within applications and clearly communicate business functional issues to clients and staff
·  Establish standards by which deliverables will be developed, understand the process used to create the deliverables, and develop deliverables against established standards.

Qualifications:

·  Minimum of one year of experience as a programmer analyst developing user or system interface in a health or human services context
·  Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university preferably in management information systems or computer science
·  In-depth knowledge in HTML/JavaScript, XML/XSLT, web services, Java and database programming ( SQL)
·  Strong understanding of data models and typical SDLC phase
·  Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library standards and enterprise architecture and service-oriented architecture
·  Travel may be up to 80-100%
·  Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
