Job Description

KPMG is looking to drive the future of the profession through digitalisation and the UK, as the second largest member-firm, is at the forefront of innovation. The platform for this innovation is KPMG Clara. The next phase of KPMG Clara is ‘Project Victor - rewriting our KPMG audit methodology (KAM) based on simpler ‘plain English’ and redesigning the audit workflow (currently eAudIT ). You will play a key role in this profession-changing agenda by joining the Clara Technology Team and leading the UK’s deployment of KPMG Clara and Project Victor.

Both KPMG Clara and Project Victor are key to continuing our audit transformation journey so that the innovations of today and tomorrow are incorporated and delivered to our people in a smart workflow.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Deployment Manager will have responsibility for managing all aspects of the KPMG Clara deployment including the next phase of the journey: Project Victor .
- Work with Global Services Centre (GSC) to deliver the latest version of KPMG Clara (including Project Victor).
- Provide feedback to the GSC in line with their development cycle regarding UK requirements.
- Demonstrate Agile Project Management skills, develop and manage structured projects including :
- Scope definition and scope/change management.
- Planning, monitoring and timeline management.
- Identifying, monitoring and managing Risks, Actions, Issues, Dependencies.
- Managing and tracking budget and resources.
- Coordinating the testing, accreditation and operation of the support model, including any technical and/or business guidance/methodology as required – in collaboration with other teams e.g. DPP/Learning & Development.
- Tracking and monitoring benefits and KPIs.
- Monthly reporting .
- Become the SME for KPMG Clara and Victor deployment and work on (in collaboration with others as required):
- Producing effective communications for end users .
- Develop library of success stories to drive usage/awareness and interest.
- Run/develop training and guidance.
- Supporting the pilot teams.
- Respond to Technology queries through the Helpline on a rotational basis
- Be the escalation point for Clara and Victor queries.
- Liaise and work with key stakeholders including Audit Leadership / DPP / Risk / L&D:
- Keep updated with progress.
- Manage expectations.
- Ensure all stakeholders aligned.
- Work with Lighhouse/Tech Solutions/ITS/external suppliers to develop solutions/ business case/project briefs for approval

Qualifications and Skills

- Ability to build relationships quickly with all key stakeholders including DPP, ITS, Global Service Centre (GSC), Risk Management and audit teams. Has great impact in one on one / group / presentation situations – will need to run training/webex sessions for all grades.
- Excellent project management skills, ability to manage conflicting priorities, shifting timelines and action plans as well as make informed decisions and manage risk. Solution based approach and great team working skills. Excellent understanding of how Technology fits into the Quality agenda. Close liaison with Audit Quality Transformation Programme (AQTP) team.
- Internally motivated and able to drive and shape new processes where none may currently exist in the firm.
- Out of the box thinker – driven to find ways of doing things better and has the mind-set to come up with proposed solutions, with a good understanding of the delivery lifecycle.
- Flexible working style, thriving on new and game-changing ideas - ability to excel in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
- Clear understanding and appreciation around KPMG’s Risk Management policies. (Cross border considerations/accreditation of all tools for Audit).

Experience and Background
- 3 + years recent Audit experience.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Established network within the firm.
- Diverse audit experience to enable discussions on topics from a variety of industries (at a high level).
- Self-starter and able to self-manage.
