 KPMG is currently seeking a Associate Planner, Events & Meetings to join our Events & Meetings organization

Responsibilities:
•Execute client’s strategic initiatives by developing meeting or event concept, goals, objectives, budget, and outcomes
•Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned client groups,
•Research venues, negotiate contract terms, support agenda and content development, and oversee registration needs, plan menus, budgets and on-site logistics
•Foster collaborative relationships with other team members and internal departments
•Work both independently on projects and as part of project teams

Qualifications:
•Minimum of three years of progressive experience in events and meetings planning; preferably within a professional services firm
•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; CMP certification is preferred
•Proficient with strategic meeting management tools (Cvent), Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
•Ability to prioritize projects and work with other team members to meet deadlines in a high volume, fast-paced environment to support the E&M organization for both the national and field teams
•Demonstration of strong fiscal management and understanding of data metrics usage is preferred
•Ability to travel up to twenty-five percent
