Job description

At KPMG, our values define who we are and the way we do business. As a leading professional services firm, we know that our strength and capability come from our people – their different perspectives, experiences and backgrounds. From our inclusive leadership strategy to our diversity and inclusion targets – we’re making bold changes to who we are and what we do. Be part of it.

KPMG's Tax practice is a dynamic and successful area of our business. A constantly changing and increasingly high-profile field, Tax can offer a surprisingly broad range of quality career paths to ambitious people.
Cambridge is the UK’s fastest growing city and is set to remain so for the foreseeable future. The market is diverse with a client and target base of UK listed, PE backed, privately owned and overseas inbound groups many of which are focussed around knowledge-intensive industries.

The Team

We work with dynamic businesses and individuals across the East of England in all sectors but with a particular focus on the high growth life sciences, biotech and technology businesses which are at the heart of the UK government’s Industrial Strategy.

The team is very inclusive, supportive and friendly and we value fresh ideas and innovation in all we do. We embrace flexible working.

We have experienced consistent high growth in Cambridge over a number of years and are looking for capable, proactive individuals to join our team and to be part of our growth story as we look to double the size of our business in the next 3 years.

• Working with the tax computation processing team in the management and delivery of tax compliance work. Monitoring the tax compliance position using tax administration software
• Reviewing corporation tax computations and advising the client on the computational treatment of contentious issues
• Co-ordinating tax payments, loss relief, capital allowances, group relief and other claims
• Delegating delivery of work to junior colleagues whilst maintaining control of quality and timetables.
