What are we looking for?

We are seeking strong and passionate candidates with Advanced Analytics/Machine Learning backgrounds to fill positions in our Lighthouse Data Analytics consulting practice.

To be a successful candidate with us, you will need to have:

·  Masters/PhD degree in Quantitative fields such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Bioinformatics, Physics, Operations Research, or related fields
·  Strong in-depth knowledge in the following fields: machine learning, statistical modeling & data mining
·  1-3 years of deep technical experience in machine learning and statistics related work, preferably relevant experience in Banking/Telecommunication/Supply Chain/Utility etc.
·  Hands-on Proficiency in programming in at least one of the Analytics and Data Science tools (R/Python)
·  Knowledge of Databases and SQL is required
·  Knowledge of SAS is preferred
·  Experience in Mathematical Optimization is an advantage • Strong communication skills, especially around breaking down complex problems into relevant action items for a diverse set of clients and colleagues

• Excellent problem solving, organizational, decision-making and interpersonal skills

• Willingness to travel more than 50%

You'll work as a member of the prestigious KPMG Lighthouse Data Analytics practice in India. Our practice assists our clients and colleagues within the firm in solving complex operational challenges. By blending analytical and strategic thinking with hands-on experience, our teams of consultants and subject matter experts work to develop and implement solutions/platforms that solve our clients' most critical problems.

What you will do?

You will get to work hand in hand with your colleagues and clients to inspire confidence and empower them through your high quality deliverables, motivation and enthusiasm.

More specifically,

• You will play a key consultative and client-facing role in data science implementations, by providing timely, professional, and quality deliverable outputs on assigned projects/Proof of Concepts, by leveraging your technical and domain expertise

• You will be expected to contribute effectively and drive client engagements focused on (real-time) Advanced Analytics, in diverse domains such as finance, banking, telecommunication, product development, marketing research, public policy, optimization, and risk management; as well as communicate results and educate clients through reports and presentations

• You will get the opportunity to work on technical proposals/response to RFPs/technical documentation as and when required, requirements analysis, design, KT documents and user guides
