Accountant

Job description

Responsibilities include:

- Bookkeeping for bank transactions, accounts payment and employee expense reports
- Bank and cash transactions
- Review and reconciliation of accounts
- Following all procedures concerning handling of payments
- Ensuring compliance with local tax legislation and internal policies
- Assistance in preparing monthly and annual financial reports
- Preparation of ad hoc reports and analysis for management needs

The successful candidates would possess:

- University degree in Finance, Accounting or other related field and willingness to develop in the field of accounting
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting
- Genuine interest in Albanian tax and accounting legislation
- High level of analytical skills
- Computer literacy : MS Excel
- Good Command of English
