We are looking for

This position is responsible for managing the branch collections process. Position will have direct responsibility to maintain protection of receivable asset, to optimize branch receivable turns, and to maintain direct customer contact on receivable requirements.
Directly impacts branch receivable aging and cash turns, Bad Debt provision, IMWC, collection performance, risk of receivable loss and risk of slow pay, retention close out and A/R settlements, Branch Manager receivable management, down payments, project liquidity. Indirectly Impacts: Branch operations, internal operations, down payments and management of contracts, timing and quality of billing.

Maximize branch cash flow by engaging collection activity directly with KONE customers. Provide weekly reports on collection activities to Branch or District Manager. Develop and implement a standard process for branch risk review including credit approval and project bond and lien protection. Develop and implement program and become active participant to sell and secure advance payments and prepayments on new projects. Liaison with HQ functional areas of Law, Contract Mgmt., Billing and Financial Services. Assist with resolution of quality issues affecting the performance of the branch region. Complete special projects as assigned.

Desired profile

Skills, Education and Experience

Education: High school required, Bachelor degree desirable.

Experience: Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience with direct customer contact preferably in collections or banking arena with heavy emphasis on customer service and problem solving.

Persuasive and logical communicator with strong verbal and writing skills.

Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to interact and build relationships with team personnel, field personnel and KONE customers.

Maintain a professional business image at all times.

Demonstrated ability to market and present improvement programs, negotiate changes, and effectively communicate judgment decisions.

Results oriented and able to handle multiple assignments.

Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs.
