Job description
We are currently looking to recruit operatives to join our busy team, working on the Network Services contract and based out of our site in Draycott in the Clay. This position will report directly into the Team Leader.
Your Tasks and Responsibilities
· Receiving, checking and put away of deliveries / returns
· Picking and packing
· Quality checking / screening
· Scanning and packing of product to order
· Data input onto a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
· General warehousing duties
Your skills and experience
· Numeracy skills with good attention to detail
· Good communication skills, the ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a busy team
· Previous warehousing experience (advantageous but not essential)
· A valid Reach and/or Counterbalance FLT licences (advantageous but not essential)
· An aptitude to use a computerised despatch system
· The ability to meet daily targets and deadlines
· A hard working, positive and flexible attitude, the ability to pick, pack and fulfil orders for customers
· Awareness on how to keep the workplace clean and tidy and awareness of Health and Safety requirements
