Job description

Provide and control daily delivery activities to ensure meet customer requirement. Responsible for daily activities in routing for transport is in line with SOP to achieve the target, ensuring budgetary targets and agreed-to contractual KPI's are achieved at all times. Make sure planning are provided and sent to transporter and monitor all order process, ensuring that requirements of Kuehne+Nagel and customer are met at all times.

Your tasks and responsibilities

·  Establish programs to ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation and utilization of the transport plan
·  Schedule all distribution services and maintenance activities to ensure customer requirements are met in an efficient manner
·  Make recommendations to management team on programs to improve transport plan and cooperation with transportation companies
·  To plan, lead and control the workload of the transport team to achieve shift deadlines and KPIs
·  Lead a program of continuous development for the transport team through regular reviews, and Identifying training needs and ensure that Health & Safety standards are maintained
·  Develop and communicate properly with customer related with transport planning and status
·  Defines way to add value to customer
·  Problem solving with effective communication
·  Provide SOP for transportation process with details
·  Ensure proper process of investigation of any claim damage from customer
·  To ensure compliance with all DC safety policies and requirements
·  Provide monthly turn over of transportation and compare with the forecast
·  To identify efficient transportation cost as required

Your skills and experience

·  At least 3 years transportation working experience
·  Knowledge of distribution IT software + Ms. Office
·  Established forwarding knowledge
·  Effective coaching skills of drivers
·  A flexible approach to work
·  The ability to use MS Word and MS Outlook
·  Strong communications skills and problem solving abilities
·  A flexible approach to work and the ability to work under pressure
·  Knowledge of basic Transport Legislation and K+N's Policies and Procedures
·  Good team working skills as well as being highly customer focused
·  Planning and organizing skills, with proven effective leadership skills
