Job description

To provide administrative support to the Thurrock food services operation, assisting in meeting the work schedule in line with current company policies and procedures, maintaining systems as required by policies and legislation.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

·  Raise PO's in the correct week and on time, clear parked/blocked orders weekly, processing invoices correctly and on time

·  Cover off monthly payroll reconciliation, ensuring all required staff are included and on time with the report

·  Ensure SMART is updated weekly and exceptions are cleared promptly, coding for absence are correct, and all missed clock-ins are captured and escalated to management

·  Ensure new starts are set up correctly on SMART, track probationary reviews and raise when due, remove individuals when they leave the business and follow up with probationary and termination forms & NOC forms

·  Support the operational and training team as required – car/hotel bookings etc., order company uniform where required and within budget

·  Maintain GFCC (Environmental) reporting

·  Support the maintenance and control the upkeep of the accident log, progress accident forms promptly and ensure the team produce the correct information accurately and on time

·  To answer and respond to incoming and outgoing telephone calls as appropriate, in a professional manner

Your skills and experience

·  Experience with in an operations type environment

·  Ability to plan, prioritise and organise

·  Attention to detail
