Your Responsibilities•Responsible for supporting and meeting KN and/or customer KPIs within sphere of responsibility.
•Awareness of and adherence to QSHE programs.
•Follows all outbound work instructions and/or standard operating procedures
•Validates and records outbound data manually and in WMS
•Maintains records of all outgoing shipments
•Ensures accuracy, prepares and generates documentation for outbound activities
•Effectively communicates with carriers, customer, operations and management
•Reports concerns or issues immediately to management
•Reports outbound discrepancies
•Performs clerical duties such as filing, phone calls, use of radio, data entry, etc.
•Responds to emails with strong sense of office etiquette
•Operates Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to load/unload incoming product
•Assist in all areas as and when required to meet operational needs
•Ability to meet attendance requirements and work overtime as required achieving customer metrics.
•The ability to interact effectively and professionally with coworkers.
•Participate in KN Care
•Will perform other job tasks, as assigned.
Your Skills and Experiences•HS Diploma or GED
•A minimum of 2 (two) years’ experience in warehouse environment
•English required with both written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks with minimal supervision
•Strong work ethic and team player.
•High degree of professionalism. Ability to communicate with various levels of the organization. Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills.
•Material Handling Equipment: Sit Down, Reach Truck & Order Picker
•Knowledge of Windows-based order entry system
•Experience with WMS – prefer Manhattan
•Exercises initiative in following up on pending issues and orders
•Ability to effectively solve problems
•Ability to establish priorities and multi task
•Must have intermediate to advance knowledge of Excel spreadsheets
