Sea Logistics Operational Service Supervisor
Your RoleThe Sea Logistics Operational Service Supervisor will manage and assist the operational team members.
Your Responsibilities-Responsible for the quality of service delivered to our Customer Service Teams.
-Ensure highest Level of Operational Excellence within Kuehne + Nagel's Standards.
-Eye for detail and accuracy.
-Ability to distribute and communicate vital information internally and externally.
-Evaluating employees on a constant and regular basis.
-Helping qualified team members to pursue career opportunities within the company.
-Ensure the highest levels of productivity within the department.
-Adhere to the budget guidelines and observe/report negative deviations.
-Leveraging Kuehne + Nagel’s latest technology for sea freight operations, finance, and communications platforms.
-Customer Queries (performance based/shipment specific)
-Staff management issues (vacation, illness, performance management)
-Financial based (financial performance by client/sub-department)
-Communication ( communication of activity (generally Shipment specific) to Cutomer Service Branches
Your Skills and Experiences-Ideally 1-3 years of experience in international freight forwarding, with particular regards to operations, administration and accounting.
-Previous leadership experience is a plus.
-An obsession with Customer Service. You won't be satisfied with anything less than perfect.
-Ability to communicate professionally via e-mail and telephone.
-Ability to communicate professionally via email and Phone
-Strong computer skills.Specifically e-mail, chat, internet, and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
-Possess self-discipline, strong leadership and motivational abilities.
-In addition, ability in developing operational strategies and solutions is desired.
