Your Role

The Regional Air Logistics Pharma and Healthcare Development Europe (RA-DP) will be responsible for customer development (growth), including business implementation support, as well as acting as subject matter expert (SME) representing the KN PharmaChain Air product. Furthermore, it is the RA-DP responsibility to ensure that the quality and excellence of the Kuehne+Nagel PharmaChain services are fully delivered to our customers. To do so, he/she will be working very closely with the Kuehne+Nagel PharmaChain operations within Europe, ensuring business requirements are met, effective, and lean working processes are followed, or the required training programs are delivered.

Your Responsibilities

·  Ensure the Pharma communities in the EUR countries have a clear understanding of the Kuhne+Nagel PharmaChain Air product;
·  Implementation and support of the Kuhne+Nagel PharmaChain Service Offering and Kuhne+Nagel Product portfolio;
·  Consulting National Pharma and Healthcare Heads for Critical / High Value / High Visibility shipments, first shipments of new Pharma and Healthcare customers, selling and positioning of solutions and value-added services;
·  Assist / monitor implementation of all new business awards in close collaboration with the appointed Lead Implementation Managers (LIM);
·  Serve as the consultant to the National Pharma and Healthcare teams including Sales, internal stakeholders as well as the customer for transportation and packaging solutions;
·  Within own sphere identify and escalate to regional Pharma Competence Team operational weaknesses with necessary enhancements;
·  Within own sphere analyze and collect competitive information, market data as well as customer-specific needs to propose improvement ideas for the KN PharmaChain product;
·  Support the Global Pharma and Healthcare Manager through the communication of current issues and continuous improvement opportunities identified at the station level;
·  Work with Global, Regional and National Sales as well as Pricing teams to ensure we have responsible growth of tonnage;
·  Support sales initiatives/sales staff with the development and retention of Pharma and Healthcare clients;
·  Work closely with GKAMs / RKAMs on sales strategy within your country or sub-region;
·  Ensure the Kuhne+Nagel PharmaChain training program is delivered to all Pharma and Healthcare Team members across Europe.

Your Skills and Experiences

·  Minimum 2 years of international experience, Project Management, QSHE, and in the Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare Industry;
·  Minimum 5 years of experience in Air Logistics;
·  Fluent English is mandatory, other languages are a plus;
·  Working knowledge of Pharma and Healthcare transportation regulations (GDP);
·  Extensive knowledge of Pharma and Healthcare market;
·  Understanding of Kuehne+Nagel QSHE processes and requirements;
·  Good knowledge of training methods and training experience;
·  Frequent International Travel (mainly within Europe).
