Job description
The Stock Integrity Department is responsible for the physical stocktaking and 100% Stock Location Checking of materiel under the custodianship of Kuehne & Nagel Government Division.
Your Role
The jobholder is responsible for the physical activities involved in stocktaking, re-checking, 100% Stock Location Checking and resolution of stock investigations emanating from such physical activities.
Your Responsibilities

Assist Stock Control in the implementation of the Stocktaking strategy in line with contractual requirement
·
Contribute to the physical Stocktaking and 100% Stock Location Checking of all primary materiel within Kuehne + Nagel warehouse products to incorporate:
·
Ensuring completion of all cyclic stocktaking.
·
Accurate adjustment of all Warehouse Management Systems.
·
Reporting of stocktaking results to MAC Branch for reconciliation - NOTE: Assumptions or 3 rd party assurances are not acceptable in relation to stock quantities, locations, discrepancies or whereabouts of unaccounted stock
·
Assist Stock Control in the development of Stock Control procedures for all Warehouses within Kuehne + Nagel Government Division.

Direct responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of all Stock Control processes to incorporate:
·
Empty/full location checks
·
Issue and Receipting checks
·
Replenishment checks
·
System Controls, e.g. Open Pallets, Pending Put away.
·
Responsibility for appropriate investigations of all Stock Adjustments and Write-Offs at agreed monetary levels.
·
Direct response to partake in K&N Annual Performance and Potential Review (PPR) processes.
·
Assist with system improvements and development of SCT procedures, inclusive of Continuous Improvement, where necessary and ensure that all processes are conducted in accordance with Work Based Instructions (WBIs).

Attend meetings and team briefs as directed.
Your Skills and Experiences
· MHE operation (as specified within Job Advert)
· Experience of working to agreed targets and KPIs
· Ability to count and computer literate
· Understanding of warehouse practises e.g. picking, Packing, loading (End to End processes)
· Ability to work individually or as part of a team
· Reliable, punctual, good communication and decision making skills
· People focus; empathy, engagement and service orientated
