Job description
As National Sales Manager you will be responsible for entire sales team of Kuehne + Nagel in Serbia and all sales and marketing activities.
Your tasks and responsibilities
· Responsible for all sales and marketing activities in Serbia for Kuehne + Nagel
· Realization of sales and marketing plan based on profitable growth
· Prepares the annual budget for the sales department
· Responsible for sales department profitability and performance, achieving agreed sales
targets, profits and other financial plans as well as for completion of the assigned action plans
· Organizes regular meetings with employees in the sales department and reviews previous month's reports, targets, and sets plans for the next period
· Develops and maintains a database, including market analysis, structure, size and market
segmentation, prices along with distribution channels
· Examines and develops new market opportunities in accordance with the defined regional /global strategy
· Develops sales channels and strategies to identify development prospects for expansion
or growth with KN customers
· Identifies and implements a distribution strategy to optimize sales
· Provides support to sales activities Kuehne + Nagel Serbia including marketing activities,
technical training and assistance
· Develops and maintains key relationships with clients
· Supports the implementation of key strategies in specific areas crucial to growth and
partnership development
· Recommends and manages prices in accordance with business goals, following the competition
situation, growth strategy and market positioning
· Maintains close communication with operational departments to ensure a high level of service
and optimal profitability
· Continuous work on professional development and improvement
Your skills and experience
· Bachelor Degree in Economics, Traffic and Transportation Engineering or Logistics
· 1-3 years of experience in Sales on a managerial position is a must
· Experience in Logistics or Transportation or International Freight Forwarding
· Fluent English language skills
· Strong Leadership and Performance management skills
· Excellent negotiation skills
· High Customer Orientation
· Strong Commercial and Business Acumen
