Are you experienced with Information Systems implementation and Project Management? Are you also a motivating leader? Then join our Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel in Sweden! You will be heading a team that is responsible for all Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) implementations and improvement of work processes from an Information Systems perspective.
Your Role
We operate several 3PL sites with well-known clients in a number of Swedish locations. Your role entails supporting our Contract Logistics Business Unit’s targets through innovation, planning and implementation. You will be reporting directly to the National Contract Logistics Director and be part of the CL BU Management team and a Regional Contract Logistics information System community. We expect you to possess strong analytical thinking and excellent communication skills to communicate and cooperate with stakeholders on a national and global level. You must thrive with IT solution tasks and project management, and it is essential that you have a comprehensive understanding of applications within logistics and supply chain.Your Responsibilities
- Management, coordination, facilitation and organization of IS services within the country
- Lead the national IS-team currently consisting of four professionals
- Support existing operation resolving issues and improving system support
- Support business development team with IS-solutions and costing
- Lead the development of an IS agenda and plan
- Implement IS solutions in a cost- and time-effective way
Your Skills and Experiences
- Min. Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree within IT, Information systems, Business Administration within logistics and supply chain management or an equivalent vocational qualification
- Min. 2-3 years’ experience from a similar role, preferably as a project manager within 3PL, supply chain and/or transportation
- Competent with managing business-related data and processes
- Advanced knowledge of English language both oral and in written and preferably a very good level of Swedish language
- Have a positive working attitude, be a team player that is able to influence at all levels
- Be able to multi-task and work under pressure
- Possibility and willingness to travel
